How Can You Help Your Child Be Ready for K?
Here Are a Few tips:
Make sure your child knows their first and last name.

Give them opportunities to meet new friends.

Go to a local park, playground or library to play with others.

Practice with crayons, pencils and scissors.

Read aloud and ask questions about the story.

Help your child sit and listen to a story.

Explore and help them recognize the ABC’s and 123’s in a fun way.

Help them identify and point to letters in the alphabet.

Explore numbers one through 10.

Point to a number and identify it.
