We need your urgent support. Recently released 2019 data from the Virginia Kindergarten Readiness Program found that 44% of all children in Virginia are entering kindergarten not ready in one or more areas of literacy, math, social skills, or self-regulation.
Last week, HB 1012 (Bulova) and SB 578 (Howell) cleared their first hurdles int he legislative process. Now, they will be heard by the full “money committees” as early as this week! These bills are a result of stakeholder engagement and will provide critical improvements to do the following:

Increase access to early childhood programs

Focus on equity for all children

Improve the quality of programs

Make a lasting impact in Virginia
