It all started with making lemonade from scratch and a $34 profit.
Our preschoolers decided to plant basil, beans, corn 🌽, cucumbers, peppers, potatoes, radishes, rosemary, zucchini and much more on our Nature Playground. Our teachers facilitated the learning process and guided the project.
They spent months patiently planting, watering and watching seeds turn into flowers, herbs and vegetables.
After their success selling lemonade, they decided it was time to create their own Farmers Market.
They worked together to build, organize and run their very own market.
Our preschoolers made the connection that food comes from local farms not grocery store shelves.

They created signs, wrote labels , displayed food in baskets and bins, made their famous lemonade, packaged their products and sold just about everything. Total profit $179.
The preschoolers voted to reinvest these funds in alphabet robots, books, construction trucks, race cars and more seeds for planting.
We can’t wait to hear their next big idea and project!
