We partner with Yummy Goodness to provide two fresh, healthy snacks and a lunch every day. We love the fact that they are a women-owned, small business that partners with local growers and other small businesses.
WHY?
Healthy habits begin early and providing children with nutritious and high quality food helps them to be ready to learn, grow and make better choices.
HOW?
Our teachers sit down with our children and eat family style every day. They encourage children to serve themselves and have conversations while they eat.
There are community gardens on our nature playground and cooking lessons and hands-on learning activities are built into our daily curriculum and enrichment programs.
New E3 School parents are often pleasantly surprised by the variety of healthy foods their children willingly eat at school. They have peace of mind, knowing that their children are eating healthy. Not to mention, they love not having to pack lunch every morning!
I often say that lunch is the best time to visit our school. Stop by sometime and join us for a healthy, fresh, local and YUMMY lunch.
